CATIA V4

• MAHLE currently uses CATIA V4 R2.4 R2 (according to the recommendations of the CEG).
  
  
• The Standard Code Page is ISO 8859-1.
  
  
• MAHLE doesn’t use "embedded project file".
  
  
• Data exchange is only permitted using CATEXP/CATIMP utilities.
  
  
• The MAHLE project file is based on the EURO-Project-File 2.

CATIA V5

• The present version at MAHLE is CATIA V5 R19 SP09.
  
  
• Additional hotfix-package: in accordance with the European OEMs.
  
  
• Customer environments of European OEMs are installed.
  
  
• The use of other CATIA releases follows the automotive industry.

Pro/ENGINEER

• The product version at MAHLE is Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.
  
  
• Dependent on customer the releases, Wildfire 2 120, Wildfire 3 M080 and Wildfire 4 M190 are in use.
